Fighters' Club TV Crew

Mark "Special K" Kurano
Mark Kurano is the mastermind of Fighters' Club TV. His yearning for something decent to watch on television grew into creating FCTV and assembling the FCTV "Dream Team."

Mark comes from a family that has been involved in Judo for generations. His grandfather helped to start a Judo dojo. Mark has studied and competed in Judo in Hawaii and Japan. Mark is an member and assistant instructor of the Shobukan Judo Club. Presently, Mark has gotten the BJJ bug and is extensively training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Michael "The Icon" Onzuka
Michael Onzuka is the co-head instructor and co-owner of O2 Martial Arts Academy, a Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association that has been in business since 1995. He started BJJ in 1992 and has never stopped. Currently he is the primary commentator for Super Brawl, Rumble On The Rock, and X-1's Pay-Per View events and a judge for just about every MMA event in the state of Hawaii. Mike is also the Hawaii Shooto Commissioner. Mike also serves as a referee for almost every Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling tournament in Hawaii.

Jason Rust
Jason Rust is the video expert and technical director of FCTV. He is responsible for the items that are often overlooked, but essential for a great overall product. The great angles, background, lighting and camera work is due to Jason's extensive experience in the industry. He currently works as a cameraman for KGMB News 9.

Chris Onzuka
Chris Onzuka is the co-head instructor and co-owner of O2 Martial Arts Academy, a Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association that has been in business since 1995. He started BJJ in 1991. Currently he is a contributing editor and photographer for Full Contact Fighter and Gong Kakutogi, a Japanese Martial Arts magazine, covering just about every MMA and kickboxing event in the state of Hawaii. When he is not covering events, he is often judging MMA events. Chris also serves as a referee for almost every Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling tournament in Hawaii.

Kawika "Veeka"
Maui
Veeka is the man that brings Fighters' Club TV to Maui. He is an On Air Personality for KPOA 93.5 FM radio station on Maui. Fighters’ Club TV airs on Akaku, Channel 52 & 53. Kawika is also one of the best local ring announcers in the business. His love for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts adds a ton of credibility and versatility when he is announcing or interviewing fighters at events. Kawika has channel this passion into the Hawaii Fight Network. First a blog, then a website, Kawika brings more information about Hawaii's fighters to the forefront. Kawika was the first person to help us spearhead FCTV's expansion to the other islands.

Curt Oishi
Hawaii (Big Island)
Curt is an avid MMA fan and is a valuable person to have at MMA events because he is an EMT. If you would like to thank someone for getting FCTV on the big island, Curt is the man!
