Shane is currently a Black Belt under Relson Gracie. Shane is also a brown belt in Judo from the prestigious Shobukan Judo Club. Shane is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling champion and has competed numerous times in the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Brazil and the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships. Ian Beltran - Kali-Escrima Instructor Ian has been training in Escrima under the late Maestro Eustaquio "Snookie" Sanchez since 1990. He is also a 3rd degree black belt in Ken Ka Bo Makaha Kempo under Professor Gordon Magallanes and has been training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 1993. Ian is also currently a Captain in the Air National Guard. Ian earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ian is married with two daughters, Sage and Brooke. PJ Dean - Boxing & Kickboxing Instructor PJ has been a fixture on the boxing and kickboxing circuits for practically his entire life. A proud product of Waianae, he has been extremely successful in boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA competitions. He is a professional in boxing, kickboxing, and MMA and as earned is a multiple stripe blue belt in BJJ under Mike & Chris Onzuka & Shane Agena. PJ is a busy father with six kids. Kaleo Kwan - Boxing & Kickboxing Instructor Kaleo has been tearing up the boxing and kickboxing circuits for a number of years now and has won numerous state titles. He is the SUMA lightweight kickboxing tournament champion as well as a successful mixed martial arts competitor. He is a veteran of Rumble on the Rock, Icon Sport, X-1, Punishment in Paradise, King of the Cage, and Hawaii Fighting Championship. Kaleo is known for his devestating knockout power and ability to adapt his kickboxing techniques during a fight to be dominating against any style. He has also earned a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Mike & Chris Onzuka & Shane Agena. Kaleo is married with six, yes, six kids. Sam Mahi - Gracie Jiu-Jitsu & Submission Grappling Instructor Sam has trained in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 1988 and along with Chris and Mike, are 3 of the 4 instructors hand picked by Relson Gracie to open the first affiliated school in Hawaii in 1995. In addition to being one of Relson Gracie's first Black Belts, Sam is also a Sargeant in the Honolulu Police Department and has headed the Police Training Academy for a number of years. He is a multiple time Aloha State Games firearms champion and an expert in Control and Arrest Tactics. Sam earned a master's degree in Sociology and is married with two daughters, a son, and is a proud grandfather of three. Chris Onzuka - Gracie Jiu-Jitsu & Submission Grappling Instructor Chris have trained in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 1991 and along with Sam and Mike, are 3 of 4 instructors hand picked by Relson Gracie to open the first affiliated school in Hawaii in 1995. Both are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champions and have competed numerous times in the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Brazil and the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships. Both are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champions and have competed numerous times in the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Brazil and the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships. Mike is married with sons named Caleb, Lucas, and Ethan. Chris Slavens - Boxing/Kickboxing Instructor Chris has been bred as an amatuer boxer from a young age. He has also attained the rank of Major in the Army National Guard and has earned the prestious Bronze Star during his heroic tour of duty in Iraq. Chris was a teacher at Youth Challenge, a military type school for troubled youths, for a number of years where he honed his craft as an excellent instructor. He is also a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has competed in the Amateur Fighting Championships as well as many Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. Chris is married with two sons, Cullen and Conner.
