Occurred Tuesday (2/6/01)
- While training, my foot got caught in my partner's gi, while he was trying to pass my guard. My foot was dislocated and bent inward, hitting my shine before popping back into place.

Prognosis: x-ray taken on 2/7/01
1-2 weeks on crutches
4-6 weeks for ligments to heal
Torn ligament, tendonitis, gout (later it was not said to be gout), rhumatoid arthritis.

Treatment:
R.I.C.E. for over one year
Cortizone shot directly into the ligament
3 weeks of physical therapy
